Position Summary :
As a Paramedic, you will provide compassionate and high-quality patient care, combining both basic and advanced medical services. Your goal will be to deliver these services professionally and cost-effectively while demonstrating our commitment to the community.
Responsibilities :
Assess call situations to determine the best course of action using advanced Paramedic protocols.Use advanced medical equipment and procedures including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids.Provide clear communication with patients and their families to ensure understanding and reassurance.Lead and manage the team at the scene, taking responsibility as needed.Collaborate effectively with healthcare and public safety personnel.Develop and apply triage skills for optimal efficiency during emergency calls.Deliver patient care per clinical protocols and safety regulations.Assist in lifting and moving patients as necessary.Communicate with receiving facilities to provide crucial medical information.Drive the ambulance efficiently and ensure adherence to response time protocols.Maintain all required Paramedic certifications.Document all patient care activities and billing comprehensively.Comply with all company policies and procedures.Ensure adherence to information systems security policies and procedures.Additional Responsibilities :
Engage in community programs to enhance the company’s image and foster strong community relations.Regularly meet with existing clients and staff to ensure needs are met and communicate interactions to the operations manager.Perform additional tasks as directed.Minimum Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED.National Registry Paramedic Certification.Montana State Paramedic License within 60 days of hire.Valid State Driver's License.Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP certifications.Driving record must comply with safety policies.Experience :
