Responsibilities
As a Career Coach Floater, you will oversee the orientation and on-boarding for all new hire partners, deliver hourly in-store training and reporting for all departments, facilitate and guide partners in career planning and career growth, and perform administrative duties while assigned to a Joe V Smart Shop store. You will ensure all partners are informed and understand the career opportunities available at Joe V's Smart Shop.
JVSS Career Coach Floater will be expected to fill in for the Career Coach position within the JVSS Division at any store location if store Career Coach is on vacation, LOA, OFF and need additional support, or if a Career Coach is no longer in the store position. The Floater Career Coach will be responsible for the administrative tasks as well as the Career Coach duties for any store they are assigned to for a temporary basis.
Typical request for a Career Coach Floater position will be to cover vacations and days off if a store needs additional support. There may be extenuating circumstances where the Career Coach Floater will be required to support a store for a temporary period of 4-12 weeks or as needed until the store is able to fill their Career Coach position.

Training / Coaching / Administration :
Trains hourly partners; provides individual and / or group training, demonstrations, and store walks or overviewsCompletes training administration including documentation, tracking, and assessmentsFacilitates career planning discussions with partners and equips partners with career tools and resourcesWorks with department managers and monitors progress to ensure training activities / assignments are completed and provides accurate, timely feedback about performanceProvides feedback / revisions to content owner on training materialsUses best practices, preferred methods, and JVSS SOPs to achieve training objectivesCommunicates partner concerns to department manager and top leader when appropriatePromotes the learning culture of the divisionConducts in-store workshops, including informational career sessionsCoordinates / supports JVSS Academy programs and processesReviews weekly payroll report to ensure hours are charged properlyProcesses partner profile changes and new hire information in PeopleSoft systemMaintains files on hourly store partners, updating as needed; sends copies to partner service center digital imaging centerCoordinates training, meetings, and special projects / activitiesCoordinates and tracks store hiring needs, interviews, new hires, orientation, and exit interviewsPrepares reports and presentations by collecting, compiling, and analyzing information and dataUpdates partner communication boards for total store as requestedProvides store support for key corporate annual initiativesWhat is your background?
