Job Title : CNC Lathe Machinist - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team for the 2nd shift. You will operate a Twin Spindle Twin Turret Lathe to manufacture fire fighting equipment, including handline nozzles, apparatus valves and fittings, industrial valves, adapters, caps, and plugs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe machining centers.
• Spend 30% of your time performing setups and change outs.
• Spend 70% of your time monitoring machines, inspecting completed parts, and cleaning / organizing work areas.
• Conduct 1 to 3 setups per shift, with runs ranging from 20 to 200 parts.
• Operate Okuma-Howa Lathes, including Bar Feeder Lathes and others.
• Run two machines simultaneously.
• Use micrometers and calipers to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Mount, install, align, and secure tools and fixtures on machines.
• Read, understand, and edit programs for Bar Feeders.
• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC lathes.
• Maintain a tolerance of + / - .005.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.96 - $28.46 / hr.
