Contracts Administrator
We are looking for a skilled Contracts Administrator to join our team in Carrollton, Texas. In this role, you will provide critical support to the Legal department by managing and reviewing contracts related to construction, leases, and purchasing. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical abilities and communication skills, ensuring the company's interests are protected throughout the procurement and negotiation processes.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate closely with business leaders in a fast-paced environment to support all stages of contract procurement and negotiation.
- Analyze, revise, and redline various types of contracts, including construction agreements, change orders, service contracts, and vendor / supplier agreements, to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Maintain and update standard contract templates to align with company protocols and industry best practices.
- Identify and address potential compliance, liability, or exposure issues within contracts to safeguard company interests.
- Ensure contracts are reviewed and finalized efficiently while meeting client expectations.
- Interpret technical documentation to verify the inclusion of required terms and conditions and highlight any problematic clauses.
- Provide expert guidance on contractual obligations and implications to internal stakeholders.
- Develop strategies for effective negotiation to achieve favorable terms for the company.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the contracting process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements :
Minimum of five years of experience in contract administration, management, or negotiations.Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex contracts and identify potential risks.Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms.Experience specifically with construction contracts strongly preferred.Familiarity with various types of commercial agreements, including construction contracts and vendor agreements.Demonstrated experience in reviewing and redlining contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate liabilities.Ability to interpret technical documents and confirm adherence to required terms and conditions.Proficiency in contract management systems and tools.
