Job descriptionJOB TITLE : Weekend Warrior Radiologic Technologist FLSA STATUS : Non Exempt DIVISION : Radiology RATE : $35.00 per hour Status : Full-Time or Part-Time Schedule : Saturday, Sunday, Monday Hours : 7 : 00 a.m. to 7 : 00 p.m. Company Overview F.W. Huston Medical Center is a critical access hospital located in Winchester, KS, dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to our community. Our facility includes a 24 / 7 Walk-In Clinic, emergency care, outpatient therapy, and long-term care options through our Senior and Assisted Living facilities. Summary We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at F.W. Huston Medical Center in Winchester, KS. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety while delivering high-quality radiographic images that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays and CT scans. Ensure patient safety by following established protocols and aseptic techniques. Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed. Assist in the training of new staff or students as needed. Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and best practices. Complete clinic duties as directed. Duties may include patient intake, discharge, and vitals checks as needed. Requirements Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required. Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience in diagnostic radiology preferred; mammography experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
