At CVS Health, we're building a world of health around every consumer and surrounding ourselves with dedicated colleagues who are passionate about transforming health care. The SMIT program is a development focused role designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position through a self-paced, collaborative training over 16 weeks, with both virtual and hands-on learning experiences.

We support your growth toward your leadership career with a team including your District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and your Store Manager coach.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a structured 16-week program to develop readiness for a CVS Store Manager position.
  • Engage with leadership experiences to support your path to promotion during the program.
  • Support the store as a management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies.
  • Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
  • Be willing to accept promotion roles with the market you work in.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager at any location in the designated market.
  • Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market.
  • Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Retail management experience, or experience as a CVS Supervisor.

  • Anticipated Weekly Hours : 45
  • Time Type : Full time
  • Pay Range : $18.50 - $28.67 per hour
