Briarcliff Animal Hospital is seeking a full time Vet Tech / Asst Supervisor to join our team!

Our well-established, AAHA-accredited 8-doctor practice is open Monday - Saturday.

Our wide range of services include primary care, illness care, soft tissue and laparoscopic surgery, dentistry, ultrasound, boarding, grooming, and much more. We see dogs, cats, and some of our doctors see exotic species as well.

About the Role

As a Vet Tech or Vet Assistant, you will support our team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients, clients, and team. Duties will include :

• Compassionate patient care
• Client education and care
• Venipuncture and catheter placement
• Medication preparation and administration
• Radiology and diagnostics
• Lab sample collection and processing
• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Medical recordkeeping
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Anesthesia induction, monitoring and recovery
• Dentistry - cleaning, polishing, radiology, charting, etc.
