Seven Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mammography Technician for a full-time, permanent opportunity in The Woodlands, Texas . This role is perfect for a seasoned imaging professional who is committed to excellence in breast imaging and patient care, and who can help lead and mentor others in a high-performing radiology department offering $87,000 to $107,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Mammography Technician, you will :

  • Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms in compliance with ACR and FDA standards
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and education during all phases of the procedure
  • Maintain and calibrate mammography equipment and assist with quality assurance initiatives
  • Support accreditation efforts and uphold MQSA compliance
  • Mentor and assist junior technologists, contributing to team development
  • Accurately document procedures and maintain records in EMR and PACS systems
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and support staff

    • Qualifications

  • ARRT (R) and (M) certifications required
  • Texas MRT license or eligibility required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mammography, with prior lead or senior experience preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of breast anatomy, positioning, and imaging protocols
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills
