How You Will Contribute

As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in the efficient scale-up design and implementation of processing technologies to improve the performance of our commercial production facility. You will optimize existing process steps and infrastructure, develop new process steps, and scale up the existing facility.

Location : Plantible's commercial production facility in Eldorado, Texas. The candidate is expected to be on-site when engineering support is needed to work with operations teams, construction teams, and contractors. Responsibilities include engineering solutions to enhance performance and robustness of the facility as well as technology transfer and scale-up of new and existing technologies.

What You Will Be Working On

• Continuous Improvement Projects : Analyze process run data to identify potential points of improvement for yield or throughput. Design and implement solutions and coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams. Work with operations teams to address inefficiencies in design, operation, and documentation to ensure smooth facility operations. Provide scaling recommendations and design for the existing facility and future larger productions.
• Technology Transfer : Prepare project documentation including volume and mass balances, budgets, technical and quality specifications, and SOPs. Identify pain points in operations and develop detailed plans to address these issues. Liaison between R&D and operations to balance priorities for successful technology implementation.
