Insurance Service Professional (ISP) - Hybrid Role - Howell, MI

Join our team as an Insurance Service Professional (ISP)! This is a fantastic Temp-to-Perm opportunity designed to set you up for success, starting with comprehensive training and two sponsored attempts to earn your Property & Casualty (P&C) or Personal Lines (PL) Producer’s license!

The Opportunity :

This role is the perfect entry point for motivated, customer-focused individuals. You'll use your customer service and consultative approach to support clients and ensure they have the right coverage.

Work Schedule & Location :

Training (First 8 Weeks) : Fully remote / remote training lab.

Post-Training : Hybrid schedule requiring 2-3 days per week in our Howell, MI office (Tuesdays–Thursdays preferred).

Candidates must be within commutable distance of the Howell Office.

Compensation & Growth :

Contract Rate : $21.84 per hour.

Conversion Salary : $44,000 annually (with potential for a small promotional increase based on performance).

Conversion to a permanent role is contingent upon successfully passing your P&C License exam. Must pass the Kaplan licensing exam by December 31, 2025.

Position Overview / Summary :

As a member of our Customer Service Center team, you will work with our independent agents and their customers to create an outstanding service experience.

This role is responsible for providing consultative service to our customers while also educating and offering personal lines P&C products. The right candidate must have the ability to be trained and attain the license needed to answer simple to complex customer inquiries, process policy and billing changes and research and consult on coverage and policy related needs with our customers

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For :

Licensing : Current PL or P&C license is a top skill , but we highly encourage applicants who are willing to obtain their license by December 31, 2025 (Hanover will sponsor 2 attempts for the KAPLAN exam).

Experience : 2 years of work history is strongly preferred . Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus.

Skills : solid technical abilities and a consultative approach to customer interaction.

Remote Readiness : Must have a reliable internet connection with a minimum of 50 MBPS download and 10 MBPS upload speeds.
