Equipment Services Technician
Do you have a passion for working with heavy trucks and equipment? As an Equipment Services Technician , you will play a key role in keeping our fleet running smoothly by diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a variety of heavy trucks and truck-mounted equipment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hiring Salary Range : $45,017 – $63,379
- Full Salary Range : $45,017 – $86,195
- Tool Allowance : $2,000 annually (tools must be owned by the candidate)

Work Schedule
Monday – Friday : 7 : 00 am – 3 : 30 pmMonday – Thursday : 6 : 00 am – 4 : 30 pmTuesday – Friday : 6 : 00 am – 4 : 30 pmWhat You'll Do
Perform diagnoses, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy trucks and truck-mounted equipment.Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures.Possess four years of journey-level experience performing minor and major equipment repair on heavy trucks and equipment.Possess or obtain a Class A CDL License with Tanker Endorsement, NC Emission / Safety Inspection License, and Air Conditioning Recovery Certification within six months of hire date.Walk, stoop, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs; work in dust, grease, noise, heat, cold, and inclement weather.Non-exempt position subject to overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; equivalency of one year heavy / medium duty and equipment experience or heavy truck / diesel technology acceptable.Four or more years of documented journey-level experience in heavy truck and equipment repair / maintenance.Valid driver's license.Class A CDL License with Tanker Endorsement.NC Emission / Safety Inspection License and Air Conditioning Recovery Certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire).Preferred Qualifications
Associate Degree or higher in Automotive Systems Technology, Heavy Equipment & Transport Technology, or related field.Five years experience in medium and heavy truck maintenance.Certified NC Emission / Safety Inspection License.ASE Air Conditioning Recovery Certification on medium / heavy truck series.Signing bonus eligible. Must be able to provide emergency response during severe weather (snow, flood, storms, etc.).
