Paramedic

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team in Roanoke. This role involves providing advanced life support, emergency care, and patient transport in both pre-hospital and inter-facility settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to medical emergencies, administering critical care, and ensuring the safe transport of patients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver life-saving medical care and transportation to patients in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Assess the severity of illness or injury and prioritize medical procedures accordingly.
• Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, defibrillation, and drug administration under ACLS protocols.
• Provide specialized care for pediatric patients and handle life-threatening conditions like arrhythmias and trauma.
• Maintain clear communication with physicians, healthcare teams, and family members.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest medical protocols, treatment techniques, and equipment.
• Document patient information, including condition and response to treatments, accurately and timely.
• Manage resources efficiently, including inventory and maintenance of medical equipment.
• Operate emergency vehicles safely, adhering to safety regulations and maintaining excellent driving records.
