Licensed Pharmacist Manager

A company is looking for a Manager, Prior Authorization Systems Pharmacist to oversee a team managing clinical criteria and prior authorization system configurations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team responsible for prior authorization criteria development and system configuration

Oversee the creation and maintenance of clinical criteria and decision trees based on guidelines

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and ensure compliance

Required Qualifications

Active, unrestricted pharmacist license (PharmD or BPharm required)

5+ years of experience in prior authorization or utilization management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

Strong understanding of clinical criteria development and formulary management

Experience with prior authorization system configuration preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
