As a back-end developer, you know that a good site or system needs the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to develop a user-focused solution. We're looking for an experienced back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients.

As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you'll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver solutions. You'll be developing and maintaining the technology needed to power the components which enable the user-facing side of enterprise applications databases to conceptualize and implement data storage solutions, run performance testing and benchmarking, and optimize data performance. Using your software engineering experience, you'll work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.

You Have :

• 5+ years of experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting Agilesoftware development to modernize systems
• 5+ years of experience with CI / CD pipelines, database development, and middleware, including SQS, SNS, Airflow, Lambda, or EventBridge
• 2+ years of experience securing and containerizing software using Docker
• 2+ years of experience operating within AWS environments and using AWS or Azure tools such as IAM management, EC2, Terraform, or CloudTrail
• Experience in a Scrum Master role, executing Agile methodology, extreme programming, product management, andsoftware products
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team, leading technical sessions, and mentoring junior coding personnel
• Experience presenting proposed solutions to stakeholders
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in software engineering, or 8+ years of experience insoftware engineering in lieu of a degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
