Encompass Community Services is a community-based organization in Santa Cruz County that provides a wide range of services related to family and social well-being, early childhood education, behavioral health, housing, and more. We work every day to make health, education, and housing more equitable for all people in Santa Cruz County, helping people access education, rebuild relationships, restore health, and regain dignity for more than 40 years.
Position Summary
We are recruiting on-call counselor positions in the Alto's Drinking Driver Program in Santa Cruz and Watsonville. The program is a great place to develop psychoeducational and group facilitation skills while working a part-time and flexible schedule. Clients participate in our classes to work toward regaining their driver's license. We provide services in English and Spanish and staff work across both North and South County offices. Shifts are M-Fri from 12 or later to accommodate client schedules. Applicants who need late afternoon or evening work may fit this role. We currently provide telehealth services and will expect in-person services as they become available.

Our total compensation package includes a comprehensive medical and dental insurance plan for full-time employees, a 403(b) retirement plan, paid holiday, sick time, and 17 days of paid vacation pro-rated for positions less than 40 hours a week.
