CT Technologist

Float between Cambridge and Everett (please be sure candidate is agreeable)

Shift : varied (12 hr shifts either 6 : 30a-7p, 7 : 30a-8p, 8 : 30a-9p, 7a-7p (on the week-ends) or 7p-7a)

Equipment : Client exclusive. 4 Client scanners 2 at each site. 1 VCT and 3 Revolutions

Medrad injections

Procedures : All CT exams

Inpatient and Outpatient

No On-Call

Details : The primary responsibility of a CT Technologist is to ensure physicians and other members of a patients care team receive high-quality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments. Some common CT Technologist job duties and responsibilities include :

Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional

Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to patients

Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images

Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging

Examining images to ensure they are usable

Updating patient medical information

Block scheduling will NOT be offered

Must work every other major holiday

Submission Requirements :

Up to date resume that includes minimum 2 years of experience in CT scan. Also, documenting travel experience May consider first time travelers who comes with great experience

AART Certification - AHA BLS

Active MA state license

2 recent Charge RN / Manager / Supervisor references

Skills Checklist matching specialty

Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics

Flu vaccine required during season

RTO must be included at time of submission it will not be guaranteed after confirmation.

EMR Experience Preferred - EPIC
