EverGrain seeks to hire an Operations Technician for the plant located in St. Louis, MO. This individual will be working as part of an autonomous team within a World Class food facility, responsible for the day to day operational and maintenance activities within a “First-of-its Kind” site. Successful candidates shall have the opportunity to train and work in all facets of the plant operation. You are self-starter, have an entrepreneurial growth mindset and strong collaboration skills. You are excited to make a significant impact in growing the capacity of the organization. Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
Work Location : St. Louis, MO
Salary : $28.25 / hr + 4 hours of daily OT
Shift : 12 hours, 2-3-3 off including night shift rotations
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of computer-controlled manufacturing and packaging equipment
- Responsible for following all plant policies, safety policies and procedures
- Manage the HMI (Human Interface Systems) with technical understanding of the physical process and automation controls
- Communicate job knowledge and process changes with team members, department crew and management through various forms of communication
- Perform quality checks and recording them in our automated computer system programs.
- Interpret statistical data to make quality and productivity decisions
- Monitor, and maintain production plans, inventories, and schedules to ensure excellent process performance and product quality
- Autonomously owns their process areas and working hands-on to verify safe, sanitary, and efficient operating conditions
- Develop, monitor, and maintain production plans, inventories, and schedules to ensure excellent process performance and product quality
- Lead root cause analysis routines and drive process improvement via other management systems
- Operate forklift
- Lubricates equipment
- Communicate maintenance and quality activities by using computer reporting systems
- Perform other duties as assigned throughout the plant and assist other team members as needed
Job Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED2 year technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience.HMI automation experience preferredProficient understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.Able and willing to work a rotating 12-hour and other alternate work schedule, including day and night shift rotations, and required weekend and holiday hoursAble and willing to work mandatory overtime as requiredJob Requirements :
