The Occupational Therapist will primarily provide inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation services in a facility setting in a fast-paced environment. There is room for career growth with a large hospital system, who is able to offer a competitive salary, benefits, and work-life-balance.
What youll be doing :
- The Occupational Therapist assesses the need for, develops, and delivers occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation.
- The Occupational Therapist identifies the need for and makes referral(s) to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of patients.
- The Occupational Therapist will implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
- In addition, the Occupational Therapist instructs, educates and trains patients and caregivers in those skills and functions essential for promoting independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology.
- They direct activities to promote and maintain health.

Your Qualifications :
Must have a valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility; andMust have a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy; or must have a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy; or must have a Bachelors degree in Occupational TherapyPlus, 2 years of progressively responsible OT experience.The qualifying Occupational Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Occupational Therapy.Must have a valid drivers license or reliable, independent transportation to and from the patients residenceMust be able to meet the physical demands on the position; including lifting 50 lbs, standing or walking for long hours, and other activities.Must comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including but not limited to those within the Compliance and Ethics Program, Standard / Code of Conduct, Federal False Claims Act and HIPAA.You must be able to meet all credentialing and licensing verification that is a requirement prior to the interview.Compensation :
