This on-site position is ideal for a dedicated teacher who values inclusive education, collaboration, and creating a supportive learning environment that meets the unique needs of every student.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive hourly rate : $35$42 / hour, based on experience and certification

Ongoing recruiter and advisory support throughout the year

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct instruction and specialized support to students with exceptional needs

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that align with Maryland standards

Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and parents to ensure student success

Monitor and document progress toward IEP goals

Maintain compliance with state and federal special education requirements

Cultivate an inclusive and positive classroom environment where all learners can thrive

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field

Active or pending Maryland Special Education Teaching License

Experience in resource or self-contained settings preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
