Job Title
Responsible for keeping campus buildings clean and sanitary in support of the Building Services unit in the Department of Building and Landscape Maintenance.
Physical Demands : The employee must have the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds; stand and walk continuously; wear and work with the use of personal protective equipment (e.g., gloves, goggles, etc.), and to work in or around allergens such as dust and chalk. Work hours are 4 : 00 a.m. to 12 : 30 p.m., Mon Fri. May be reassigned to work in different work zones throughout campus based on operational needs. Must be willing and able to change work zones.
Minimum Qualifications : Ability to read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations; to operate assigned tools and housekeeping equipment; to work with chemicals and cleaning solutions; to understand and follow directions; to lift and transport supplies and refuse; to wear and work in personal protective equipment.
Additional Job Details : General knowledge of cleaning tools, cleaning compounds, and other materials; ability to use and maintain highly professional equipment; ability to work with chemicals and cleaning solutions and to operate / use assigned tools and housekeeping equipment. Commercial and / or industrial housekeeping experience preferred. Ability to communicate in English to follow oral and written instructions and to interact with customers as needed is strongly preferred. 3 years of housekeeping experience preferred.

Salary Range : $38,000.00 - $45,600.00
