Bengali Translator

This is a On-Site position (NO REMOTE)

Part-Time (As Needed) (Once to twice possibly a month, or more as needed)

Compensation: $21-$27 (Based on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Bengali Translator to join our team on a contract basis. This remote opportunity is ideal for individuals looking for flexible, part-time work. The primary responsibility will be to translate documents from English to Bengali and vice versa, focusing on materials related to health benefits, policies, procedures, and other important communications for an automotive facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate various documents from English to Bengali, including health benefits information, policies, procedures, and related materials.
• Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and aligned with the tone and context of the original text.
• Review and proofread translated documents to maintain quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with team members to clarify project requirements and deadlines.
• Manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks effectively, with availability for requests that may arise once or twice a month or more.
• Fluency in both English and Bengali (spoken and written).
• Proven experience in translation, particularly in business, legal, or technical subjects.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with translation software is a plus.
