Create a collaborative and nurturing environment for students to learn and take risks Establish clear objectives for all lessons units and projects and communicate those objectives to students Plan well-structured lessons that have varied learning experiences to meet student needs Guide and counsel students with adjustment and / or academic problems Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with students families and staff. Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their childrens progress and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs. Collaborates well with colleagues of diverse backgrounds on pedagogical approaches curricular alignment including Universally Designed Learning and instructional strategies Evaluate student progress which includes report cards and creating Student Success Team meeting notes when necessary Appropriate Massachusetts Educator License (DESE) is required Other duties assigned by the building administrationRates of Pay : for Long-Term Teacher Substitutes Day 1 - 60; $275.00 per day (Based on Bachelors Step 1 FY26) Day 61 - End of Contact; Sub will be hired at appropriate degree / step and given all benefits except for MTRS Please send letter of interest and resume to the attention of : Dr. Kelly R.
