LocumJobsOnline is working with Echo Locum Tenens | Sound Physicians to find a qualified Critical Care MD in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 35401!

About The Position

Seeking Critical Care Physicians for   locum coverage at DCH Medical Center in  Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Echo Locum Tenens is a direct affiliate of Sound Physicians, offering priority scheduling ahead of other locum agencies. Enjoy flexible shifts with no minimum requirements, competitive pay, covered travel and lodging, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, and full-service credentialing, logistics, payroll, and licensing support.

Program details :

  • DCH is a 583-bed tertiary care center. We have excellent rapport with subspecialists as well as the ICU nursing, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and palliative care teams. We have dedicated critical care pharmacists in both ICUs.
  • 2 day intensivists, 1 night intensivist, and APP (12-hour shifts)
  • We have 2 medical ICUs, each of which has 16 beds (closed ICU). Patients seen are bread-and-butter ICU patients
  • Multidisciplinary rounds occur in Medical ICU 1 at 9 am and in Medical ICU 2 at 10 : 30 am.
  • 3rd and 4th-year medical students rotate with us in the ICU.
  • A current AL license is required
