Role Summary

The Brand Designer (Contract) at Renew Home will play a key role in supporting an array of design efforts through thoughtful, high-quality execution. You’ll collaborate closely with design leadership and cross-functional partners to bring our brand to life across a variety of experiences.

This is a contract role for a multidisciplinary designer who’s excited to execute across a range of design projects—from go-to-market campaigns and digital assets to presentation materials and data visualizations. You’ll be someone with a sharp eye for detail, strong visual taste, and a passion for maintaining consistency and quality in every deliverable.

What You Will Do

Brand systems & visual storytelling

  • Leverage and elevate Renew Home’s brand system, ensuring consistency and innovation across digital, product, and go to market experiences.
  • Create high-impact visual expressions that simplify complex topics, including energy industry concepts, data insights, and product value propositions.
  • Develop complex yet elegant data visualizations, illustrations, images, and other visual assets that bring Renew Home’s story to life.

Cross-team collaboration

  • Partner closely with design, marketing, product, and BD to ensure cohesive brand expression across a variety of experiences.
  • Work cross-functionally with product marketing, business development, design leadership, and other stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into compelling visual solutions.

    • Tools & innovation

  • Work fluently in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Notion, and Google Suite to develop and share design solutions.
  • Integrate AI tools into your workflow to enhance creativity, efficiency, and innovation in design processes.

    • Communication & presentation

  • Confidently articulate design decisions and present creative work to diverse audiences, including stakeholders.
  • Contribute to Renew Home’s broader creative vision by sharing insights, exploring trends, and pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling.

    • Requirements

  • 3+ years of design experience.
  • A standout portfolio demonstrating excellent design work and interest in pushing trends.
  • Expertise producing strong design deliverables, both big and small, that thoughtfully ladder up to business objectives.
  • Willingness to sweat the details.
  • Demonstrated experience in contributing to large scale initiatives like brand systems, websites, campaigns, and bd enablement collateral.
  • Experience in supporting brand vision with strong taste, capable of elevating and simplifying complex narratives through impactful visual storytelling.
  • Top communication skills to clearly articulate and discuss your design work.
  • Fluency in Figma, Adobe CC, and Google Suite.
  • Already integrating AI into your workflows.
  • Low ego, loves to jam with the team, and an open mind.
  • Experience working with remote teams across different time zones.

    • Benefits

  • This is a contract position with a six month duration. The hourly rate for this role is : $75.
