Position Overview

My client is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman (Fire Alarm specialty) to oversee the installation, coordination, and supervision of fire alarm and life-safety systems on local commercial and industrial projects in the Dallas area.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in the field, takes ownership of projects, and enjoys mentoring crews while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews in the installation and wiring of fire alarm systems and related electrical infrastructure
• Review drawings, specifications, and project plans for accuracy and compliance
• Ensure all installations meet NEC, NFPA 72, and applicable local codes
• Coordinate activities with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce company safety policies
• Track project progress, materials, and manpower efficiently
• Support system testing, commissioning, and closeout
• Train and mentor apprentices and journeymen in both technical and leadership skills
