Medical Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist 2.

Key Responsibilities :

Verify patient eligibility and authorization for healthcare services

Conduct research on unpaid or denied claims and contact payers to secure payment

Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to HIPAA and other applicable laws

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education :

High school diploma or GED

At least three years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts receivable

Experience with accounts receivable software and navigating payer sites

Knowledge of medical business office procedures and third-party payer billing practices

Demonstrated ability to meet performance objectives and work with cross-functional teams
