Job descriptionConductsclinical,administrativeandqualityoversightofourcardiologyproviderswithintheDepartment. Clinicalworkasa0.8FTEand0.2administrativeFTE. Establishesstandardsandprotocolsforevidence-basedcardiovascularmedicinewithintheDepartment. Determinestheimmediate,intermediateandlong-termgoalsfortheCardiologyDepartmentinalignmentwithDepartmentstrategy. Conductsannualperformancereviewsofcardiologyprovidersandsupportstheirprofessionaldevelopment. WorkswithChiefMedicalOfficertocontinuouslyimprovecardiovascularqualityandpatientexperience. Participateinleadershipdevelopmentprograms, medicalstaffcommitteesandservesasavotingmemberoftheMedicalGroup. LeadershipCouncilasrequiredbythe Chief Medical Officer. Ongoingcommitmenttocontinuingmedicaleducationandprofessionaldevelopmentofcardiology providers withintheDepartment. Participatesinandpromotescardiovascularmedicaleducationincludingdevelopmentof continuingmedicaleducationprograms,curriculaandprogrammatic design for medical student, future GME programs, and APPs.
