We are seeking a detail-oriented  Billing Specialist  to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Reading, Pennsylvania . In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate invoicing, payment processing, and recordkeeping for our organization. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in problem-solving, communication, and working with financial systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, statements, and other financial documents for customers and clients.
  • Maintain and update customer records with accurate billing information.
  • Process payments, returns, and credits to ensure timely transactions.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies while addressing customer inquiries.
  • Conduct account reconciliations, track outstanding payments, and follow up with clients as needed.
  • Generate detailed financial and operational reports to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with collections, customer service, and sales teams to address and resolve billing issues.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years of similar role or client-facing experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and relationship building.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or workflow management tools is a plus.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new processes and systems to job responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks or projects efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated individual with a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving responsibilities and willingness to take on additional tasks.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
