Physician - Gastroenterologist

Salary : $350 per hour

    • Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic skills.
  • Coordinate discharge planning with case management.
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations for gastroenterology, including ERCP and EUS when required.
  • Accept and refer patient referrals; perform admission, attending, and consulting duties as needed.
  • Document care in a manner that meets insurance company requirements and appeal denials in a timely fashion.
  • Participate in academic programs such as medical education and research as requested.
  • Participate in on‑call schedules and in‑patient and out‑patient consultation as appropriate.

    • Qualifications

  • MD or DO with a Maryland Board of Physicians credential obtained prior to hire date.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
