Loss Prevention Specialist

Position Purpose:

The Loss Prevention Specialist is dedicated to minimizing financial losses due to theft and fraud while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental protocols. This role involves utilizing various tools to protect the company’s assets, including:

• Identifying incidents of theft and fraud
• Reviewing CCTV footage and exception reports
• Monitoring store security measures
• Auditing Electronic Article Surveillance systems
• Promoting a culture of shrink elimination

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing comprehensive and accurate case reports to document apprehensions and recoveries
• Preserving evidence for investigations
• Interacting with law enforcement when necessary
• Testifying in criminal and civil court cases

The Loss Prevention Specialist must proactively report any hazardous conditions to the Manager on Duty and perform all duties in a safe manner for themselves, fellow associates, vendors, and customers. We expect you to uphold integrity and respond promptly to asset protection concerns while focusing on achieving store-specific objectives.
