Help serve Google's worldwide user base of more than a billion people. Data Scientists provide quantitative support, market understanding and a strategic perspective to our partners throughout the organization. As a data-loving member of the team, you serve as an analytics expert for your partners, using numbers to help them make better decisions. You will weave stories with meaningful insight from data. You'll make critical recommendations for your fellow Googlers in Engineering and Product Management. You relish tallying up the numbers one minute and communicating your findings to a team leader the next.
The Payments team builds and operates Google’s business infrastructure that enables all Google products to generate business. This business generation engine supports various business models including B2B, B2C, subscriptions, and marketplaces.
The Pay Experiences (PayExp) team is on a mission to redefine payments and digital identity in the age of AI, creating a seamless commerce experience for Google users, partners, and the wider ecosystem. The team is structured across three key domains : B2C Experiences, B2B Experiences, and The Incubator (focusing on zero-to-one growth opportunities). As the senior analyst on Payments Experiences, you will shape Payments products and solutions, helping our leaders make data-driven decisions. You will lead a critical part of Payments that focuses on Awareness, Acquisition, Activation, Engagement across Google surfaces. You will drive analytics for user journeys and help build end to end user funnels that touch multiple payments systems and build data outside of payments while working with various first-party's across Google.
Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
