Currently, TBE is seeking a full-time Resident Project Representative I (RPR) to support airfield and landside projects at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) and other airport clients across the region.

Currently, TBE is seeking a full-time Resident Project Representative I (RPR) to support airfield and landside projects at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) and other airport clients across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary on-site representative for TBE during the construction phase of assigned projects.
- Monitor and document daily construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare daily reports, field notes, photo documentation, and quantity tracking for contractor work.
- Coordinate and participate in construction meetings with airport staff, contractors, and project designers.
- Review contractor pay applications, submittals, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Verify quality control measures, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines.
- Assist with materials testing coordination and tracking.
- Communicate field observations and issues clearly to the design team and airport staff.
- Support project closeout efforts including punch lists, final inspections, and record drawings.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of field inspection experience involving construction contracts OR
- Associate degree in engineering or construction-related field and 2+ years of relevant experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field and 1 year of civil engineering, construction, or inspection experience.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Must be capable of effective oral and written communication; work in a team-oriented manner, and possess analytical and organizational skills.
- High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
