American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 3+ years of experience and current ARRT or RCIS certification for an interventional cardiac setting.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath labCare for young, middle-aged, and older adult patientsPerform procedures such as diagnostic catheterizations, coronary athrectomy, IABP, Impella, orbital and rotoblader athrectomy, PCI, and PTCAUses Epic EMR; Epic experience is requiredDay shift, 4x10 hour days from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM with rotating days offIncludes 7 on-call shifts and 5 late shifts every 6 weeks with a 30-minute call back timeOne week of weekend call coverage every 6 weeks as well as one Saturday shift for elective casesHoliday rotation requiredResponsible for performing advanced cardiac catheterization and interventional proceduresAll travelers and staff participate in rotating holiday and weekend coverageReturn travelers must have a minimum one-year separation before returning; new policies apply after July 1, 2025Travelers residing within 100 miles are considered local and are not eligible; exceptions apply for those 50-99.9 miles away for a single assignmentModules and Epic training are required and may be completed pre-start or during orientationScrub attire required per facility policy\n \n Requirements\n
Three years of recent Cath Lab experience requiredARRT with a VA or other state license, or RCIS / CCI certification required; license required if applicableCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications requiredCurrent RTT or RTR statusInterventional radiology or critical care experience preferredExperience using Epic EMR requiredMust provide two professional references at time of considerationSubmission of PDF copies of Driver’s License and Social Security Number requiredMay work on another state license while Virginia license is pending (within 90-day authorization period)\n Benefits\n
