Healthcare Job Details Location : Springfield, IL 62702 (Illinois healthcare jobs) Weekly Estimated Pay : $2540-$2610 Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 09 / 15 / 2025 – End : 12 / 15 / 2025) Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (06 : 30 – 19 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : 2-3 weekends per contract On-call : Required as needed Charting System : Cerner Scrub Color : Provided Parking : Free with permit Rad Tech Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting Active Illinois state license (must be in hand at submission) Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS (AHA or Red Cross only) Experience with Cerner charting system Proficiency in cardiac cath lab procedures and sterile technique Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) Ability to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed Competency in middle and older adult patient care CT | Rad Tech Responsibilities Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, including cardiac stent placement, implant closure device, IABP placement / removal, left / right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, and rotablader athrectomy Set up equipment and maintain sterile field for procedures Interpret and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias Apply isolation precautions and infection control protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document procedures and patient care accurately in Cerner Participate in on-call rotation and work scheduled weekends as required Discover the benefits of Illinois travel healthcare jobs in Springfield—a city offering small-town charm, city amenities, and access to cultural attractions and outdoor recreation.
