Overview

Sanitation Lead at Stir Foods LLC, Fullerton, CA. Reports To : Sanitation Supervisor. Department : Sanitation. Hours : Sunday through Thursday, 40+ hours. FLSA Status : Non Exempt. Prepared Date : October 31, 2022.

Job Function

Under the direction of the Sanitation Supervisor and Sanitation Manager, lead a group of sanitation technicians with daily cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the Sanitation Supervisor and Sanitation Manager.
  • Oversee tasks and train subordinates on proper sanitation SSOp's.
  • Maintain proper communications with upper management as well as production, maintenance, quality control, and warehouse departments.
  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance including dismantling and inspecting all processing and packaging equipment.
  • Be able to work OT as needed, and flexible hours.
  • Lead the sanitation group to conduct sanitation tasks based on order of urgency.
  • Maintain all record paperwork of cleaning including the master sanitation schedule.
  • Perform other duties as required.

    Physical Demands

    The employee will be on their feet 100% of their shift. They will be walking for most of the shift and will bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift items / equipment up to 50 lbs. Body mechanics are crucial to meet the demand of the physical labor.

    PPE Required

    Sanitation aprons, chemical-resistant gloves, safety glasses, face shield. Rubber waterproof and slip-resistant toe-protected boots.

    Work Environment

    Warehouse and production exposure are expected. You may be exposed to fumes, temperature changes (hot, cold), loud noises, wet environment, moving mechanical parts and vibration.

    Education and Experience

    Years of Experience : 1 year in a previous Lead role in sanitation.

    Education : High School Diploma or High School Equivalent.
