Screw Machine Operators (Acme, Brown and Sharpe, Davenport)

  • Fruita, CO
  • 7am to 3 : 30pm Monday through Friday

SUMMARY :

Responsible for proper set-up, operation, and maintenance of the machines. The operator is responsible for producing parts to print at specified production rates.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Machine lubrication, machine start-up and shut down procedures
  • Machine set-up and operation.
  • Quality and production rates.
  • Recording daily production.
  • Machine maintenance and repair.

    • ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Follows current safety policies and procedures and maintains safe work environment.
  • Machine, department, and shop house keeping.

    • KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Layout reading and ability to set-up machines.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and machining knowledge.
  • Experience with Acme, Brown and Sharpe or Davenport automatics helpful.
  • Ability to communicate with others.
