Safety Specialist

This is a part-time contract position expected to run ~3 months. 20-30 hours / week anticipated.

Responsibilities :

• Implements, promotes, and maintains company Site Safety Plan.
• Executes daily and weekly safety inspections, reports and corrects findings
• Ensures that weekly toolbox talks are executed, signed by workers and filed.
• Organizes and executes weekly safety discussion for company Site Team.
• Investigates and reports all company incidents and near misses.
• Ensures completion of Job Hazard Analyzes (JHA).
• Completes SOP’s for LOTO activities.
• Evaluate and complete SOP’s for working at height activities.
• Evaluate and complete SOP’s for ergonomic-related tasks.
• Participates in Customer Safety Meetings and is actively involved in the execution safety program.
