The Walt Disney World ® Resort is seeking Disney Character Performers with a height between 4'8 - 5' for our live entertainment offerings at our Parks and Resorts near Orlando, FL. Performers are needed to bring to life the world famous Disney Characters. Character performers play before thousands of guests each day in Character Greetings and Sightings across the Walt Disney World Resort. Performers sign autographs, pose for pictures, and help create magical moments with guests of all ages. Seeking the following: Disney Character Performers: Candidates who are 4'8 - 5' with an athletic build. Performers should be willing to demonstrate high energy levels, a full range of motion with their bodies, and basic coordination to music. These roles require wearing large body costumes, heads, and feet, and exposure to hot and humid weather. Audition Location: DISNEY’S ANIMAL KINGDOM – REHEARSAL FACILITY (WARDROBE) 3271 Sherberth Road, Kissimmee, FL 34747 Sign in: 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM- Late applicants will not be accepted. There is no need to arrive any earlier than 8:30 AM. Requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States. Applicants must have and maintain a valid US Driver’s License. All applicants will be taught a movement routine. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. No sandals or flip-flops. Seeking Performers to begin work within next eight months, with potential for immediate opportunities. Seeking Performers for full-time and part-time opportunities. Current WDW Character Performers are not eligible to audition. Open to the general public.
