Job descriptionMake a Difference : Be a hero to kids as you guide them through exciting experiments, fascinating demonstrations, and imaginative activities. Flexible & Fun : Perfect for college students, part-time workers, or anyone looking for a rewarding side gig. No Science Degree Needed : If you have energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with kids, well train you on the rest! Teach 1-hour, high-energy science classes at schools throughout St. Louis. Engage groups of up to 20 kids (ages 5-12) with activities like generating electricity, creating chemical reactions, and building catapults. Work 2-4 afternoons a week (Monday-Thursday) with flexible scheduling to fit your life. Time Commitment : 2 hours per day, between 2 : 30 PM5 : 30 PM. Compensation : Starting at $20 / hour. Support : We provide training, curriculum, materials, and a Mad Science lab coat! Experience working with kids (e.g., camp counselor, teaching, Sunday School teaching). High-energy, outgoing personality to captivate young students. Reliable transportation and availability at least two afternoons per week. Ability to pass a background check.
