Certifications : BLS, CPI; ACLS preferred
Must-Have :
- Experience with pediatric patients
- Experience with trach and vent management
- Ability to float within specialty and sister units as needed
- Experience with patient ratios of 3-4
Description :
We are seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse.
The position requires alternating day and night shifts.
The nurse will be responsible for providing care for pediatric patients.
Common patient diagnoses include prematurity, cardiac defects, feeding issues, and neonatal abstinence syndrome.
Special equipment includes trach, vents, PICCs, central lines, and TPN.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1 : 3, with a maximum of 4 for lower acuity groups.
Weekend and holiday shifts are required as scheduled.
Nurses must be comfortable with a variety of pediatric nursing skills, including central line care, ventilator management, and medication administration.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing high-quality patient care is essential.
Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and a passion for working with children and families.
