Job Description :

24-hour shifts : rounding on newborns in-house during the day and then take call from home NNPs will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and will take call from home Practitioners would also stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia for newborns needing higher level care

The Belmont team will consist of 4 NNPs with the sister LEVEL III NICU staffed by 2 Neonatologists and 5-6 NNPs who provide care

Opportunities to do supplemental PRN shifts at the level III NICU in Gastonia may be possible; but would not be required, as this position is for the Level 1 nursery.

Candidates must be NNP Board Certified (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)

CURRENT 2+ years of employment experience as NNP (not including RN experience) is required

Master's Degree and / or Doctorate in Nursing, 2+ years' employment experience as NNP (not including RN experience)
