General Practice Veterinarian (Veterinarian)

Introduction Our client is a full-service general practice veterinary hospital in Capitola, CA, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides high-quality veterinary care for cats and dogs, with a mission to deliver state-of-the-art medicine with compassion and exceptional service. Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm and closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care, including wellness exams, dentistry, vaccinations, diagnostics, and soft tissue surgeries. Additional responsibilities include urgent care, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, breeding and reproductive services, and avian and exotic pet care. Surgical duties may include spay and neuter, C-sections, mass removals, foreign body procedures, wound management, foxtail removal, and dental surgery. This position is best suited for an experienced veterinarian. Practice Details The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and laboratory tools to ensure accurate treatment planning. Facilities include separate surgical and dental suites with comprehensive surgical and diagnostic capabilities. Services offered include wellness and preventative care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, urgent care, geriatric care, reproductive services, diagnostics, cold laser therapy, and care for avian and exotic pets. Team The hospital has a team of five DVMs supported by a skilled and experienced technical support staff, creating a collaborative and supportive environment.
