Currently, we are seeking Junior Emergency Managers to serve on an on-call basis as members of our firm's Response Cadre. These are short-term contract positions and, if activated, will likely require travel on short notice to a state or local Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and / or at a field site, as designated by our client's needs. Candidates for these response missions must be available to deploy within 24 to 72 hours of notice and remain on-site for at least 30 days. During an activation, Junior Emergency Managers will work to support the successful completion of our client's incident objectives and coordinate with various partner agencies and Emergency Support Functions (ESFs).

• Willing and able to be on-call for travel within 24 to 72 hours of notice and to remain deployed for at least 30 days anywhere in the United States.
• A bachelor's degree or higher.
• At least three (3) years of professional experience in emergency management or a related field.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• An understanding of the emergency management system and how jurisdictions coordinate together during large-scale incidents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint).
• The ability to provide summary products for leadership.
• A willingness to be on site working with a client for more than one month.
• The ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed based on the client's operational tempo.
• The ability able to remain calm and poised under pressure, work successfully on multiple priorities simultaneously, and remain focused when working under tight deadlines.
• The ability to be flexible and demonstrate integrity, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to excellence in all endeavors.
