Core Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with industry laws and employment regulationsAdminister benefits including HSA, ancillary plans, and 401(k)Revise and enhance the Employee HandbookManage workers' compensation and unemployment claimsOversee Department of Labor compliance, wage standards, and salary reviewsLead hiring and onboarding efforts in collaboration with internal talent acquisitionHandle additional administrative tasks related to industryQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; experience and HR certifications still get you in the door4+ years of HR experienceExperience in trucking or transportation industry is a huge plus; OSHA logs and 5500 filings also a plusProven supervisory skillsA collaborative and easygoing personality that thrives in a team environmentStrong computer proficiency#LI-RM1
