Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Rehab / LTC

Location : Lewistown, MO

Start Date : 11 / 3 / 2025 | Duration : 13 Weeks

Schedule : Monday–Friday | 8-hour days | 35 hours guaranteed weekly

Start Window : Flexible start time between 6 : 00 AM – 10 : 00 AM (must be consistent and communicated with DOR)

Weekends : None | On Call : None

Position Overview

HumanEdge is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a skilled rehab team in Lewistown, Missouri . The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a Long-Term Care / Rehab setting.

Responsibilities

Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing impairments

Develop individualized plans of care based on patient assessments

Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions

Document progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in the EMR per regulatory standards

Adjust treatment strategies as needed to support patient progress

Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team

Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on therapy goals and strategies

Participate in team meetings and care planning sessions

Provide discharge planning with detailed summaries

Support student SLPs or CFYs if applicable

Comply with ASHA standards and state regulations

Requirements

Required :

Active Missouri SLP License

CCC Certification (ASHA)

Minimum 1 year of SLP experience

LTC or Rehab experience

Strong clinical documentation and communication skills

Acceptable :

New grads with Level II clinical experience (observation-only rotations not accepted)
