William Vaughan Company is helping in the search for a Corporate Controller  for a local Manufacturing firm based in Northwood, OH.  Their desire and mission as a firm is  feeding people  through quality food, innovation, and stewardship. As the firm's  Corporate Controller , you’ll provide critical financial leadership and help drive the success of our family-owned organization. Role :

  • Lead the Accounting Team :  Oversee all accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and foster a collaborative, high-performing team.
  • Drive Financial Strategy :  Prepare financial statements, manage budgets, analyze business performance, and guide fiscal efficiency.
  • Ensure Compliance :  Maintain strong internal controls, uphold professional standards, and work with auditors and tax professionals.
  • Optimize Processes :  Utilize technology to automate reporting and enhance executive decision-making.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally :  Work closely with HR, operations, and external partners to maximize financial return and minimize risk.

    • Requirements :

  • CPA Certified  (Required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance (Master’s preferred)
  • 7–10 years  progressive accounting experience, with  3+ years in leadership
  • Expertise in  GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, financial reporting
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in manufacturing / food processing preferred
