Certified Patient Care Technician - NICU

The Certified Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.

Please note the following important details regarding this position :

This is an onsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location.

Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location :

Texas : Lubbock

Positions specified as “on call / per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies

Required Qualifications :

Coursework / Training : Combined equivalent experience and certification needed for function and level, or Current graduate of state approved PCT program (CPCT)

Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Upon hire : National Certified Patient Care Technician / Assistant - National Healthcareer Association

Preferred Qualifications :

H.S. Diploma or GED

6 months PCT experience in an acute care setting.

6 months Phlebotomy experience.
