Pape' Kenworth, the premier medium and heavy-duty truck and equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Journeyman Truck Technician / Mechanic for their team. You will work on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks in the shop, performing repairs to support our customers and maximize uptime. The team provides training, resources, and support to grow your career, along with competitive compensation, work-life balance, and benefits.

What you will do

As our Journeyman Truck Technician, you will :

  • Work on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks in the shop, performing complex repairs accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and may lead the shift in the Foreman's absence.

What you need

  • 5 or more years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy-duty class 7 / 8 trucks, including electronic troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one.
  • Self-motivation and assertiveness; ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Must provide own tools.

    • Compensation

    $35.98-53.96 / hr (Depending on Experience).
