Role Overview :
We are looking for a high-performing Carrier Partnerships leader to drive net new carrier acquisition and deepen our panel strategy. This is not a maintenance rolewe need a hunter, a strategist, and a relationship builder who can open doors and close deals with national and regional carriers. Youll play a critical role in shaping our market position and accelerating growth by delivering the carrier relationships that power our platform.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own the carrier acquisition pipeline. Identify, pitch, and secure new carrier relationships that align with our distribution model and growth strategy
- Develop carrier growth strategies. Match platform capabilities with insurer goals, pricing competitiveness, and underwriting appetite
- Drive appointment execution. Manage the full lifecycle from outreach to contract negotiation, including product mapping, integration planning, and operational alignment
- Act as the voice of the carrier internally ensure smooth onboarding, long-term satisfaction, and visibility into partnership performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally partner with Product, Legal, Compliance, and Data teams to support seamless carrier integration, regulatory alignment, and ongoing optimization
- Lead revenue-focused initiatives - contribute to revenue strategies, unit economics, and contract structures that support profitable, scalable partnerships
- Expand the carrier panel support long-term embedded distribution success through strategic partnerships and strong relationship management
Requirements :
58+ years in P&C insurance or insurtech, with direct experience acquiring and managing carrier partnershipsAgency experience is required - you understand the realities of agency workflows, carrier fit, and operational alignmentProven ability to generate net new carrier relationships, not just maintain existing onesStrong understanding of carrier economics, underwriting appetite, and distribution strategyExperience with carrier contract negotiation tied to revenue or performance outcomesData-driven mindset with fluency in unit economics, margins, and loss ratiosStrong operational orientation - able to work across Product, Sales and Agency Operations to ensure carrier successIndividual ownership mindset - you own the outcome, do the work, and thrive in high-autonomy environmentsExcellent communicator with comfort presenting to senior stakeholders (C-level, actuarial, distribution, product teams)Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fully remote environmentWhat We Offer :

Youre data-driven, commercially sharp, and understand how margins, loss ratios, and performance affect partnership success. Youre very much an individual contributor - motivated by ownership, fueled by results, and always ready to lead from the front.
