Overview

At River Valley Ingredients, we responsibly use poultry by-products to make high-quality protein ingredients that supplement animal feed, pet food, and other specialty products. The Maintenance Generalist works cross-functionally across all facility areas and maintains equipment to support production, ensuring safety and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment failures and minimize downtime.
• Support production by addressing equipment problems during the shift.
• Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety procedures.
• Document maintenance activities accurately.
• Perform other maintenance duties as required to support plant reliability.

Qualifications

Working Conditions

Frequently exposed to wet / humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high places, weather, electrical shock, vibration, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme heat. Loud noise levels.

Employment Details

C Shift (4 days on / 3 days off, 6 am–6 pm). Hourly salary.
